This section contains information on how to configure some of the additional components developed by Plesk:

• File Server. Used to share directories on a network directly from Plesk.
• Firewall. Used to protect the Plesk server and private networks from unauthorized access.
• Watchdog. Used for system monitoring.
• VPN. Used for establishing communications between geographically distributed LAN segments over public networks.
