Accounts of each type have permissions to perform actions in Partner Central according to their role. In addition, resellers, reseller’s operators, customers, and root operators have permissions to manage other accounts.

If your account has the appropriate permissions, you can modify permissions of other accounts.

To view and edit permissions of a customers and customer’s operators:

  1. On the Accounts tab, go to Customer Accounts or Operator Accounts to view customer’s operators.

  2. Click the name of the account you want to edit and go to the Permissions tab.

    Use the search box to find the accounts.

  3. To grant or revoke permissions, click Edit and select user roles.

When you edit resellers, reseller’s operators, or root operators, you can modify their permissions on other accounts, not only on their own account. Such accounts are called objects. Resellers, reseller’s operators, and root operators have access to their top-level object (account) and subordinate objects (accounts).

The permissions that you can grant cannot exceed your own permissions.

To view and edit permissions of a resellers, reseller’s operators, and root operators:

  1. On the Accounts tab, go to Resellers or Operator Accounts to view reseller’s operators and root operators.

  2. Click the name of the account you want to edit and go to the Permissions tab.

    The Permissions tab shows the list of objects, which contains:

    • The top-level object. This is the selected account (if you view a reseller) or its parent account (if you view an operator). If you view a root operator account, it is the root account (Plesk).
    • Subordinate accounts for which the default permissions were modified.
  3. To modify permissions on a subordinate account that were not modified yet, click Add Permissions.

  4. Select the subordinate account (object) in the Object box.

  5. Select permissions you want to grant the selected account (reseller or operator) on the selected object (top-level or subordinate account).

To cancel all modifications to the default permissions:

  1. On the Accounts tab, go to Resellers or Operator Accounts to view reseller’s operators and root operators.

  2. Click the name of the account you want to edit and go to the Permissions tab.

  3. In the list of accounts, select the subordinate object and click Remove.

    Permissions of the selected account on the top-level account cannot be removed.
