Plesk Accessibility Statement
Accessibility statement
In accordance with the applicable requirements of the European Accessibility Act and the EU Web Accessibility Directive (Directive (EU) 2016/2102), WebPros is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including persons with disabilities. We are actively working to enhance the accessibility and usability of Plesk control panel in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA and EN 301 549 V3.2.1 Standard (ETSI).
Compliance status
Plesk is partially accessible and in part aligns with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act, EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (ETSI), and WCAG 2.1 AA. Across the most frequently used Plesk interface pages and the most popular extensions, accessibility improvements include the following:
- Support for scalable text and layout, maintaining usability and readability at zoom levels of up to 200%.
- Interface support for assistive technologies, by adhering to semantic HTML and ARIA standards and enabling access to the control panel by keyboard, screen reader software, and voice recognition software.
- Adherence to the color contrast requirements defined by WCAG 2.1 Level AA. All interface text and interactive elements are rendered with sufficient contrast ratios against their backgrounds, ensuring readability for users with visual impairments, including those with low vision or color blindness.
- Interface translation in multiple languages.
- Content focus on clarity and accessibility.
- Support for keyboard navigation. Visible focus indicators are also present in several key areas.
Known accessibility issues
While we are committed to delivering an accessible digital experience, we acknowledge that certain aspects of the site do not yet fully conform to the established accessibility standards:
- ARIA roles and semantic HTML are inconsistently applied, which may lead to some elements being skipped or not interpreted correctly by assistive technologies.
- Some images may lack descriptive alternative text, which could impact the experience of users who rely on screen readers.
- Certain pages may not include the appropriate language settings, which can affect how content is pronounced by screen readers.
We are actively addressing the identified issues and are committed to implementing the necessary improvements to achieve full accessibility compliance.
