Disk Security Metadata File

The disk security metadata file is named DiskSecurity.xml. The file defines security rules for all disks on a Plesk-managed server except for the %plesk_vhosts% folder where hosted domain folders are located. The file is located in the %plesk_dir%\etc\DiskSecurity directory, where %plesk_dir% is the Windows environment variable designating the Plesk installation directory.

Warning: Exercise caution when changing disk security rules by editing the DiskSecurity.xml file. Follow recommendations in the section Customizing Disk Security to avoid potential problems in administering disk security policy in Plesk.
