MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI tools, such as Claude Code or GitHub® Copilot, act on your Plesk® account. You can ask an agent to handle tasks instead of doing them yourself. For example, it can deploy an app, check on a failing deployment, or fix a mail or PHP error.

Your agent acts as you. It can only perform the actions that your account and the relevant Plesk extension’s end-customer API allow, and it never receives or stores your Plesk credentials.

Примечание

Your hosting provider controls whether you can use self-service MCP access. If you do not see a WebPros Account section on your profile page, or you get stuck below, ask your hosting provider to turn this on for your account.

Connect your AI agent

This self-service flow currently supports Claude Code. To connect it to your account:

  1. Log in to Plesk, and go to your user profile.

  2. Click Link in the WebPros Account section to connect your Plesk account to a WebPros Account. If you do not already have one, create it during this step.

  3. After you link your account, click Connect next to MCP Connection.

  4. Copy the command shown under Connection Command. It looks like this:

    claude mcp add --transport http webpros-mcp <MCP_ENDPOINT> --client-id <CLIENT_ID> --callback-port <CALLBACK_PORT>

The command contains no secret. The client ID is a public OAuth client ID for your Plesk server. Claude Code uses it to obtain your own access token through your browser.

  5. Run the command on the machine where Claude Code is installed, in a terminal (Command Prompt or PowerShell on Windows).

  6. Start Claude Code, and run /mcp to connect to the server.

  7. Confirm the WebPros Account association in the browser window that opens. A phishing-prevention prompt may appear first, asking you to confirm sending data to your Plesk server. Confirm it, then sign in with the WebPros Account you linked above.

  8. Confirm the connection in Claude Code. The connection is now active.

Once connected, you can ask your AI agent to perform tasks on your account, and it acts within the same permissions you already have.
