Removing Plesk
You can remove Plesk like any other program in Windows. To do this, go to Control Panel > Uninstall a Program, select Plesk, and click Uninstall. For instructions on how to remove programs in Microsoft Windows, read this article.
Note
If you remove Plesk, the system only removes Plesk data and its associated packages. The system retains user data, such as vhost structure, application data, and IIS pools. The system may also retain third-party components that Plesk installed.
If you want to uninstall Plesk due to a technical issue, we recommend that you first contact Plesk Technical Support.
If you want to reinstall Plesk on the same operating system, we recommend that you first back up the system, then reinstall the operating system. Otherwise, you may encounter unexpected behavior when you reinstall Plesk.
You can also remove a particular Plesk component from the Plesk user interface, at Tools & Settings > Updates and Upgrades > Add/Remove Components. For details, refer to Adding and Removing Plesk Components.
