Plesk Migrator log files contain messages related to the process of migration. They are useful for troubleshooting migration issues.
The following log files are available:
- info.log - contains general information about the migration process.
- debug.log - contains the specific calls of Plesk utilities, API requests, and other technical information that can help you identify the migration step on which the issue occurred.
When you see an error message in the Plesk interface, search the
info.log file for clues. If the found information is not enough, read the
debug.log for more technical details. If the root cause of the issue is still unclear, contact Plesk support.
Access the log files
To download the
info.log and the
debug.log files from the Plesk interface, go to Extensions > Plesk Migrator, click the specific migration name, go to the Log tab, and then click either Download the info log or Download the debug log.
You can also find the log files directly on the server. They are located in the following directories:
- (Plesk for Linux)
- (Plesk for Windows)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Plesk\var\modules\panel-migrator\sessions\YYYYMMddHHmmss
YYYYMMddHHmmss is the timestamp indicating the date and the time when the migration was started.
