By default, we encode the source code of the published Plesk extensions. We do it to protect both the extensions’ licensing model from tampering, and the intellectual property expressed in the extensions’ business logic from being seen and/or copied.

If you don’t want your extension to be encoded, please let us know when submitting your extension for certification.
