We recommended you to keep backup copies of your website content to safeguard against accidents and malicious attacks. You can create backup copies with the Plesk backup and restoration functionality. This enables you to create backups of both configuration and content, including website content, mail accounts, databases and more, and restore data if necessary. You can also download backup files created in Plesk, as well as upload backup files, even those created in earlier Plesk versions. Created backups can be stored either locally or in a remote FTP storage.

Backup von Konto und Websites

If your account has access to more than one subscription, to back up all data related to your account and all your subscriptions, go to Account > Back Up My Account and Websites.

To back up the websites related to the currectly selected subscription, go to Account > Back Up Websites.

Dann klicken Sie auf Backup erstellen, um ein neues Backup zu erstellen.

Wiederherstellen von Backups

Sie können nur Backups wiederherstellen, die in Plesk Onyx 17.0 und höher erstellt wurden.

Sie können auswählen, welche Dateien aus der Backupdatei wiederhergestellt werden sollen. Sie können eine bestimmte Website, Datei, Datenbank usw. wiederherstellen. Dies ermöglicht Ihnen, nur wirklich die Objekte wiederherzustellen, die Sie benötigen, ohne andere Objekte zu überschreiben. Wenn Sie beispielsweise nur die DNS-Zone der Domain example.com wiederherstellen wollen, müssen Sie nicht die Konfiguration aller anderen Domains wiederherstellen.

Um eine Backupdatei wiederherzustellen, gehen Sie zu Konto > Websites sichern. Oder rufen Sie Websites & Domains > Backup-Manager auf. Klicken Sie anschließend auf das benötigte Backup, geben Sie an, was wiederhergestellt werden soll und klicken Sie auf Wiederherstellen.
