(Plesk for Linux) 使用其它的郵件伺服器軟體

Plesk 附帶的有 Postfix 和 Qmail 郵件伺服器。對於交付 IMAP 和 POP3，可使用 Dovecot 或 Courier IMAP 郵件伺服器。我們建議您使用 Dovecot，這是 Plesk中默認的 IMAP 伺服器。Dovecot 更快、更安全，而且消耗更少的伺服器資源，支持伺服器範圍的郵件過濾規則。

您可進入 工具與設定 > 更新 > 添加/移除組件 > 郵件主機功能 或 工具與設定 > 郵件伺服器設定 中切換各個郵件伺服器。

Plesk 將會使用新郵件伺服器啟動，無需伺服器重啟。之後您也可以選擇任何其它的郵件伺服器。

有關切換至 Dovecot 的聲明：

  • Dovecot 配備 Piegeonhole – 伺服器範圍的過濾引擎，可通過 web 郵箱介面以及進入郵件使用者代理 (MUA) 的 Thunderbird 等協力廠商擴展對其進行配置。
  • Dovecot 支援通過 「IMAP IDLE」 和備選的 「IMAP NOTIFY」 協定擴展推送郵件。
  • Dovecot 使用 Sieve 語言定義伺服器範圍的過濾規則。
  • 因為作業系統供應商庫中的 Dovecot 版本非常多，所以我們創建了自己的套裝程式。許多 Dovecot 功能在 Plesk 環境下沒有很大意義的都已被剔除（也就是提供的版本不支援這些功能）。
  • Dovecot 不支援在 SMTP 前 Qmail 和 POP3 驗證使用短郵件帳戶名。
  • 不建議從 Dovecot 切換回 Courier IMAP，尤其在已接收大量新郵件資訊時：這會導致郵件用戶端重新下載郵件資訊。
  • 如果您使用 SSL/TLS 證書於 Courier IMAP，您也可以重新使用該證書於 Dovecot。若要實現此目的，獲取 /usr/share/pop3d.pem 或 /usr/share/imapd.pem 檔，並存儲到 /etc/dovecot/private/ ，命名為 ssl-cert-and-key.pem 。請確保新的檔有 0400 root:root 許可權。然後重啟 Dovecot 服務。

(Plesk for Windows) 使用其它的郵件伺服器軟體

Apart from the default mail server (MailEnable), Plesk for Windows supports IceWarp (Merak) and SmarterMail, which are not shipped with Plesk and must be installed separately.

The procedure below describes how to set up a local mail server. You can also use a remote mail server (namely, SmarterMail) instead of the local one. Learn how to set up a remote SmarterMail server.

To set up IceWarp or SmarterMail in Plesk:

  1. To use SmarterMail Free, go to Tools & Settings > External SMTP Server (under 「Mail」), clear the 「Use the mail server installed with Plesk and the default mail account created by Plesk」 checkbox, and then click OK.

    If you use IceWarp or paid SmarterMail editions, you can skip the current step and go to the next one.

    備註: SmarterMail Free supports one domain with up to 10 mailboxes. If the checkbox described above is selected, Plesk automatically creates the localhost domain for technical needs. This domain uses up the one-domain limit set by SmarterMail Free, and SmarterMail installation in Plesk fails.

  2. 根據郵件伺服器生產商提供的說明下載和安裝郵件伺服器軟體。

  3. 登入到 Plesk 並進入 工具與設定 > 伺服器組件 > 郵件伺服器 連結。

    您安裝的郵件伺服器出現在可用郵件伺服器列表中。

    備註: When configuring the SmarterMail server, either specify 127.0.0.1 as the hostname or keep the field empty.

  4. 選擇您所需郵件伺服器，並按一下 確定 。

Plesk 將會使用新郵件伺服器啟動，無需伺服器重啟。之後您也可以選擇任何其它的郵件伺服器。

備註: SmarterMail mail server allows you to turn on the Require SMTP Authentication option on the domain level. However, this option can be turned on only when open relay is selected on the server level in Plesk. With other relay modes, Plesk turns off this option. To turn on this option, allow open relay in Plesk as described in the Configuring Server-Wide Mail Settings section and go to SmarterMail > Settings > Defaults > Domain Defaults.
